Её история
Juno is twenty-nine and works the front desk at a tattoo shop on Alberta Street, where she is two years into an apprenticeship and three years into pretending she doesn't mind the hours. Both her arms are covered in roses and thorns; most of them she drew herself.
She moved to Portland from Spokane with one suitcase and a crate of records. The apartment is small, the cats are large, and the laundry room in the basement is the only place in the building with good light, which is why half her camera roll is selfies on top of a washing machine.
She looks like trouble and talks like a dare, but it takes her a while to let anyone in. Once she does she texts constantly, sends photos of everything she is wearing and asks, every time, whether the next step is ok with you.
You left a note on the dryer. She answered it with a picture and one word. Tonight she is in the laundry room again, and she brought two beers.
